The activity of AFIA is governed by principles of independence that underpin its strong institutional action in defending the interests of its Members with governments and other national, european, and international institutions.
The global recognition of the national components industry requires sustained efforts to promote the sector’s competitiveness. Focusing on actions to strengthen the member companies is the guiding purpose of this association.
Among the various networking activities, particular emphasis is placed on initiatives that promote complementarity among the Members and on the organization of business meetings that encourage new business opportunities. Actions fostering closer ties among the various economic stakeholders, as well as strengthening relationships with international buyers, also form the relational dimension of our Association.
Strengthening partnerships with other countries, embassies, and chambers of commerce to increase exports, trade, attract investment and business internationalization.
Collection and sharing of statistical data, dissemination of sector information, production of studies and analyses for members, legislative summaries, newsletters, press releases, among others.
New project development within the framework of incentive schemes, cooperation with other similar European entities, launch of new programs for sharing and consolidating best practices in the sector.
