INDASA and Save the Rhino International Join Forces to Raise Awareness for Rhino Conservation

Through the “By The Rhyno®. For the Rhino.” cause-related marketing campaign, INDASA is leveraging its iconic Rhyno® brand and global reach to raise awareness of the threats facing rhinos and support their long-term conservation.

INDASA has partnered with Save the Rhino International, a trusted UK-registered charity working to safeguard rhino species and their landscapes – because when rhinos thrive, so do the people and wildlife who live alongside them. The partnership brings together two organisations connected by a shared symbol: the rhino. For INDASA, the Rhyno® has represented strength, resilience and performance for decades.  For Save the Rhino International, their vision is a future where all five rhino species thrive in the wild.

Now the two organisations are collaborating, pairing a widely recognised industrial brand with a cause built on strong, lasting partnerships.

The idea behind it is straightforward: the symbol that has represented INDASA for decades should also help protect the species behind it.

Turning a shared symbol into awareness and action

At the center of the initiative are INDASA’s Rhynogrip and Rhynostick White Line, both in 150mm and in 125mm, products with strong global recognition.

Throughout the campaign, these products will feature bespoke packaging designed to reflect INDASA’s commitment to the partnership with Save the Rhino International and to carry the conservation message to markets around the world.

More than a product update, the special-edition packaging becomes a visible platform for the conservation cause, placing it in the hands of the professionals who use these products every day.

Every package sold also contributes directly to rhino conservation, creating a clear connection between a professional-use product and a global environmental cause.

Through its products, packaging, digital communication and international network, INDASA aims to raise awareness of rhino conservation beyond traditional environmental audiences, reaching the bodyshops and distributors where the cause has never been addressed before.

For INDASA, the partnership is part of a broader commitment to uphold responsible business practices and to create positive impact beyond its core industrial activity.

A partnership with a global conservation organisation

Save the Rhino International works in partnership with conservation organisations, governments and local communities to conserve rhinos and their landscapes. These collaborations bring together knowledge, expertise and resources to support evidence-based conservation, address the challenges facing rhino populations and secure their long-term recovery. Through this partnership, INDASA is not only contributing to those ongoing projects, but also giving the conservation message a route into an industry that sits well outside the organisation’s usual reach.

The campaign gives industry professionals a way into the cause: by simply acquiring the products they already use in their surface preparation activities, they contribute to conservation efforts, creating a direct connection between product, people and purpose.

Running for one year, the campaign connects every package sold with a direct contribution to Save the Rhino International’s conservation work: for every campaign box sold, INDASA will donate €0.03 directly to the organisation.

By The Rhyno®. For the Rhino.

The campaign identity captures the connection at the heart of the partnership.

By The Rhyno® represents the means: the strength and reach of INDASA’s own symbol, put behind the cause.

For the Rhino represents the purpose: raising awareness and supporting the conservation of rhinos and their natural habitats.

Together, both organisations turn a shared symbol into a shared commitment, bringing rhino conservation into the everyday lives of the people who work with the Rhyno® brand.

The donation matters. So does the attention it brings: rhinos placed in front of thousands of professionals who would otherwise never come across the cause, and the reminder that a routine purchase can be part of protecting a species.
